98% to 2%

in theory she'd have a 50/50 shot right? Shoes going on the right feet 50/50 shot right? Hell no. more like 98/2 against. and EVERY time she asks 'is this the right foot?' No. It should not frustrate me as much as it does. But it does. I am working on seeing the comedy in it and laughing. I have tried different tactics to explain the shoe concept. No dice.

I keep waiting for the Law of Large Numbers theory to kick in to even out the statistics...4 years and counting.

With shoes that strap on, my mom always talked about the straps "kissing" and we didn't want that. (I can't remember exactly how she phrased it for it to make sense, I just know it did.) I never had a problem with strap shoes because I knew the straps couldn't "kiss". Also, if a shoe has a picture on the outside but not the inner side, you don't want those pictures to kiss. Maybe you can just take some marker and mark on the outside of the base of the shoes-on every pair-and then she can know that those marks never touch and she'll get it right. Good luck!
