Princess's Surgery

She came through it great. She is a champ. She just had her first does of tylenol now...at 4:45

But this showed me how much I need a faith center in my life and in my childrens' lives. I prayed for her safety and the skill of the doctor 'captain golf shirt'.

Brian stressed me out..he was stressed..so he got obscenely sarcastic, which confuses people who do not know him- and me sometimes and I am married to him! (he got more than a few confused looks from the nurses)

I feel a connection with another mom whom I met through playgroup. It is wonderful, she has been through medical struggles of her own and her son has been through so much too. G-d sent her into my life to give us guidance and help me strengthen my faith. Maybe I am reading too much into it but how else could it have happened with the timing so great? I hope I can be a support to her when she needs it.

So thank you

I am SO glad to hear that it all went well and Skylar (and mommy) made it safely through the day! We have been praying all day. Please call with more details and anything we can do for you whenever you have the chance. But for now, we rejoice with you that it is over and it all went well. :)

Skylar is such a trooper!

And I am just as sarcastic as Brian...I think it's a firstborn trait. I just usually don't throw down with my best cracks when I first meet somebody. I let them like me first. :D But now the gloves are OFF! Code yellow...he got me good!

I am so thankful to have met a very special mama through my playgroup too. We have so much in common, and she is a very kind and fun person. We have the same chronic illness, we have sons very close in age, and we really seem to get along well. I feel like God said, "these two people need to meet....NOW" and then there she was, and I felt instantly comfortable being her friend! ;)

I think Jackson is having a code brown right now so I gotta go!!!!
