Today would have been a perfect day to go hang in the Rockies. It would be a great day to hike. A great day to play at the Springs. A great day. Instead we settled for Target.
Instead I watched the kids ride their bikes in the driveway and missed the mountains.
This is odd. I never have really missed a place like this before. Bummer.
I mean who could not miss a place like this?

I grew up in Maine (now live in Oklahoma) and often feel that longing, that you feel for Colorado, for the ocean, colorful leaves, evergreens, bluer than blue skies, etc! Mostly for the ocean!
ohhh I love the ocean. I need a place with gorgeous mountains and salty fresh ocean air.. Chile anyone?
It sure does look missable.
I didn't think I'd ever like Colorado as much as the beach, but now I have an appreciation for the beautiful mountains.
